Your data, your call
Delete your personal data
You have the right to have your personal data erased — under India's DPDP Act, 2023 (and the DPDP Rules, 2025), and the EU/UK GDPR if you're visiting from there. Here's exactly how to do it, what gets removed, and what the law requires us to keep.
Option 1 — delete it yourself (fastest)
- Sign in at taazacratte.com/account.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and tap “Something still bothering you?”.
- Choose “…or remove your account” and confirm.
Your account is deleted immediately — sign-in credentials, name, phone number, optional profile details (birthday, gender), saved addresses and wishlist are all removed, and your phone number is freed for reuse.
Option 2 — ask us to do it
Can't sign in, or want everything we hold reviewed and erased (including support-chat history)? Send a request from your registered email or WhatsApp number so we can verify it's you:
- Email taazacratte@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my data”, or
- WhatsApp us at +91 9511738865 saying you want your data deleted.
We acknowledge within 72 hours and complete deletion within 30 days — well inside the DPDP Rules' 90-day limit and the GDPR's one month.
What's deleted, what's kept
Deleted: your sign-in account, name, phone, email link, optional profile details, saved addresses, wishlist, and (on request) support-chat messages.
Kept — because the law requires it: records of orders you placed, and their invoices, are retained for 8 years — indian tax / gst record-keeping even after account deletion. They're isolated as legal records and no longer tied to an active account. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
If you interacted with us on Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp
Our website apps on Meta's platform are used only to display TaazaCratte's own Instagram posts and to receive your orders on WhatsApp — they do not log you in with Facebook or Instagram, and they collect no data from your Facebook or Instagram account. If you've shared personal details with us over WhatsApp or Instagram DMs and want them deleted, use Option 2 above — the same 30-day commitment applies.
