Upvas Groundnut Chutney

उपवास स्पेशल
An honest guide. Most of our shelf — achaar, chutneys, masalas — contains garlic or onion, so it isn't for fasting days. These are the jars that are: made for upvas, or naturally suited to it.

शुद्ध गायीचे तूप
Pure, traditionally prepared cow ghee — rich aroma, golden colour.

शुद्ध म्हशीचे तूप
Pure, traditionally prepared buffalo ghee — dense texture, deep flavour.
Our Upvas Groundnut Chutney is made specifically for fasting days — no onion, no garlic. Stir it into sabudana khichdi, sprinkle over vari-cha-bhaat, or mix with curd and upvas batata for an instant koshimbir.
Upvas cooking runs on ghee — sabudana khichdi, rajgira sheera, roasted shengdana. Our cow ghee and buffalo ghee are slow-made and small-batch — see how we make them.
Fasting customs differ between families — some allow certain spices, some don't. The full ingredient list is on every jar's label, and if you're unsure about anything, ask us on WhatsApp — we'll tell you straight, including what isn't suitable.
